Chianti Classico Docg “Ragonaia” 2020 (BIO)
PRODUCTION ZONE: Loc. Villa a Sesta, Castelnuovo Berardenga, 420m a.s.l.
HARVEST: end of September-beginning of October, when the phenolic and technological ripeness of the Sangiovese grapes is completely reached.
VINIFICATION: vinification in vertical open tonneaux with manual punching down and alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts; subsequently it carries out the malolactic fermentation in steel tanks.
AGING: in second passage barriques for 12 months.
ORGANOLEPTIC NOTES: ruby red color with intense notes of red fruit and violet characteristics of Sangiovese. In the mouth it is full and persistent with tannins present for its youth but never excessive. Sapid, vinous and with good acidity it leaves a fruity aftertaste of great overall pleasure.
SERVING SUGGESTION: it matches perfectly with all red meats and with fresh and semi-aged cheeses.
